WISe Youth Peer

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

1.) Peer Support:

  a) Responsible for providing youth with peer support and advocacy to help promote

  recovery and achievement of their treatment goals.

   b) Assist the youth in identifying services and activities that promote recovery and lead to an increased  

  meaning and purpose.

  c) Utilize lived experience in recovery to promote hope in our youth.

  d) Assist youth in advocacy within the family systems and community resources.

2.) Collaboration:

  a) Attends team meetings and acts as an advocate for youth.

   b) Collaborates frequently with WISe team members (Care Coordinator, Family Peer, Clinician) to  

  assure a cohesive team approach is being provided to the youth.

3.) Caseload Management:

  a) Maintain up-to-date documentations in accordance with WACs, RCWs and agency standards.

   b) Ongoing assessment of clinical need to determine frequency of sessions; must meet minimum standard as  

   a team of 10.5 direct service hours per family per month.  

4.) Clinical Documentation:

  a) Clinical documentation will be completed within 5 business days of the service.  

5.)  Attendance and Punctuality

a) Ensures attendance and hours worked are accurately recorded in computerized timekeeping system

b) Properly manages paid time off (PTO)

c) Responsible for regular, predictable attendance and to work hours as scheduled, which may include evenings or weekends

High School Diploma or GED is required and lived experience as a youth having had behavioral health issues or substance use disorders.

Salary range is $19.90 - $21.25 per hour. This is a full time, hourly non-exempt position.
